Walt Ulman was chosen as the United States 2009 attorney of the year by Pre-Paid Legal Services, Inc., a legal organization dedicated to providing legal services to all people at reasonable cost effective rates. This is a national organization that is registered on the New York Stock Exchange. Their referral lawyer base, including both the provider firms and independent lawyers, total over 7000 lawyers throughout the United States and Canada. This organization is very selective in the attorneys they choose as referral lawyers and insist on the highest standards from the lawyers in the respective fields. Walt continues to work with Pre-Paid Legal Services, Inc. and accepts referrals in his fields of practice that include personal injury, automobile accidents, medical malpractice, legal malpractice, and workers’ compensation claims.
Walt Ulman was admitted to the Status of Sustaining Member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America by the Board of Governors in the year 2000. Further, as a member in good standing for over twenty-five years he has received the status of Association of Trial Lawyers of America Stalwart.
Walt has lectured on behalf of the State Bar of Arizona, and various other private and legal organizations in the area of personal injury and workers’ compensation litigation. He has also taught “Respect for Law” courses at public schools, and is a Tempe Leadership graduate. He practices Plaintiff Personal Injury Law; Products Liability Litigation; Medical and Professional Malpractice Litigation, Wrongful Death Litigation, and Workers’ Compensation Law. Walt is a Certified Specialist in Workers’ Compensation by the Arizona Board of Legal Specialization.
Walt has tried, mediated, arbitrated and settled claims ranging from small cases to multi-million dollar cases.
